Gas Applicants must possess:

  • BS7671 Inspection and Testing
  • IEE 17th Edition

Job Roles

  • Heating Engineers
    Engineers have to be able to undertake installation and commissioning of new gas central heating systems and/or replacement of central heating boilers and Long Duration work in all aspects of Heating Installation.
  • Servicing Engineers
    Engineers have to be able to undertake regular servicing of Gas central heating installations and related servicing work across both full Appliance strip downs and Flue Performance Analyser Testers.
  • Diagnostic Engineers
    Engineers have to be able to undertake diagnostic Fault Finding on a large range of Gas appliances. We would expect a high ratio of first time fixes with low recall rate or incorrect part rate.
  • Electricians
    Engineers have to be able to undertake all Domestic Electrical work.
  • Plumbers
    Engineers have to be able to undertake all Domestic Plumbing work including full Bathroom suites to Wet Flooring.
  • Quality Assurance Engineers
    Required to have achoeved D31 & D32 or A1 & A2 City in Guilds (Assessor). Domestic Energy Assessor (Level 3) or NHER Site assessor equivalent. Part L building standard Energy efficiency Qualified (England & Wales).
